As it was holiday last Thursday my friend and I visited Bukchon Hanok Village, as expected most of the houses has Korean flag on display to commemorates Liberation Day (Gwangbokjeol), the victory of Korea against Japan.

Buckhon Hanok Village

Bukchon Hanok Village sits between the two palaces of the Joseon Dynasty, Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung it is home for hundreds of old houses dating back the time Joseon Dynasty.  Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse in Korean traditional culture to travelers and visitors.
