Hahoe Folk Village

Chuseok was just over in Korea and unlike those previous thanksgiving holiday that we travel we decided to stay home this year, trying to save money for our six months travel plan. It was 0n 2010 when we stayed in Busan and travel in the nearby cities like Andong where we are able to visit Hahoe Folk Village, which is part of UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Hahoe Folk Village

The Hahoe Folk Village (Korean: 안동하회마을) is a traditional village from the Joseon Dynasty. The village is a valuable part of Korean culture because it preserves Joseon period-style architecture, folk traditions, valuable books, and old tradition of clan-based villages.
